Well, I could not take the dry spell any longer and I've decided to take an archery bear hunt next month.

Well, wish me the luck of the hunting gods and goddesses. I'm really hoping for a big color bear. This will be my second bear hunt but the first with a bow.

Many of you may not know that Black Bears also come in many color variations besides black. They can be blond, cinnamon red, glacier blue, white, and brown.

I will be hunting an area that has a 75% color chance meaning something other than black. But if a whopper blackie comes in I will take that too!

Got a recent report from the bear outfitter....Bears are moving and wide awake form hibernation!!!!!
