416 B&C Bull Elk from Pennsylvania

Here in Pensylvania we have a wild elk herd that we recently have been able to hunt throuh a very limited draw system.I putin every year but the odds of getting a tag are great. Something like 40 tags overall with 10 being bull tags this year. But this is what we have running around Penns Woods

This bull was taken this past November. What a brute. A 7x7 bull that scores 416 B&C!

Now that's a bunch of bull!!!!!

Not all that well known is the small but real and unfenced herd of elk in Minnesota and also here in Nebraska where very limited draws occurr and the size of the bulls are truly exceptional.....it's more like pen raised but actually wild animals raised in agricultural areas.

Very nice! I hunted deer in Michigan in the late 70s and early 80s prior to going in the military. Back then they were just getting an elk herd together as well. More and more states east of the Mississippi are developing huntable populations of elk now. I think it's fantastic and I really hope to take a 350" or better bull myself one day!

Look at the spread on that thing, it looks as wide as the box! I hope the guy has a high ceiling.

This is the latest monster taken in Nebraska IIRC 390 4/8 score

WOW! Another hog of a bull!! These things make the low 300 class bulls I chase around in Colorado look like mice LOL
