I traded a worthless .22 for this a couple of weeks ago. A chech burno 8x57 in a sporter stock. Mildly bastardized but not ruined. They even managed to drill and tap the scope mounts in a straight line.

And after sanding the purple minwax off the stock, much reshaping of the stock and cutting the poorly bent bolt handle off it looks like this.

I will post some more pics as I go. I need to improve the lighting they come off aweful dark.

I have a husqvarna 98 bottom metal to modify and a barrel to fit and fool with. I will post some more pics as I go.

I built a left side low swing safety, I couldn't find one that wasn't a piece of crap. It is made of O1 tools steel. This one is just a prototype to check function and shape. The finished piece will hardened to 60 Rockwell as is the original.
