on special reguest from south africa I talked with Rolf Ziegenhahn on the phone today about the 404 schüler magnum. http://www.ziegenhahn.de/en/
Its true that mister Ziegenhahn have a new chamber reamer for this round. its possible to change any 404 Jeffery bolt action rifle for this cartridge. cost will be circa 160 euro and circa 50 euro for the proof house. there is maybe some work necessary on the action to made the cartridge good feeding.
brass can be made by using 460 weatherby brass and the muzzle energy will come close to 460 Weath. Mag by using 10 % lesser powder.

I bought 500 cases in 450 Dakota. Basically the same case as 460 Weatherby but without the belt. Might be a good choice for converting to the Schuler.
