I think the rifle is 8mm BSA which is 8x50R. That rifle has been up for a while and I rang about it but with our conversion rate and getting it here was not worth it. Looks like a peach though. Would have sat nicely in my gunsafe.

I see it has sold, Hopefully someone here so as to hear more about it.
I liked it very much, just not the price so much.

It was indeed a 8mm according to Guy at FiveHundred ....... "It was sold to us as an 8mm and is stamped 8mm on the receiver"

Thanks for posting, I have a desire for a .315 for some reason. I think the aura and history of it have a strong pull to me. That there is a few A. Henry and Fraser's out there so chambered may help, as well as the service style Indian rifles.
