Clayton
you have had a frigging good safari. Hard work, commitment, Fantastic trophies, good time with your "duck" friend, (We know what is happening at camp when sun comes down with good people), and plenty of games seen (and nice ones at that), plenty of pics, plenty of memories, you're a lucky man, and as You share it that You're delighted, we also are delighted. Thank You very much jb

Clay
Were the elephants troublesome? They tend to rend me nervous.

Larcher These elephant weren't troublesome at all. We did see large numbers of them and at the end of our hunt we approached a couple to photograph ivory for another hunter that was in camp which I thoroughly enjoyed. Richard out PH had told us an encounter was likely in the thick stuff we were stalking buffalo in and clued us in in what to do if this happened, though this never occurred. I must admit I was sneakily hoping it would. I must say Richard was very professional and I felt very confident he would handle anything that came up. Just the size of those animals does make you a bit nervous. This was the first wild elephant I had seen and hopefully not the last. We were offered a tuskless cow on the last few days but not really my cup of tea. The thought of an elephant hunt had never really appealed to me but after being there and Richard explaining the hunt for a trophy bull I have had a complete turn around on this thought. Now finding some money is another issue.
