Anyone attending February's Aussie Conventions?

This may have been asked before but an update is called for.

Is anyone planning to attend the SCI Convention and Expo at Coffs Harbour, 19-20 Feb, or the SSAA Shot Expo at the Sydney Showgrounds, 26-27 Feb?

I know I would love to and might try to make the SCI show but the SSAA show may conflict with work.

Is "Aust Hunters International" doing anything?

I will definately be at Coffs - be good to see you there Nitro you would enjoy it. Its a lot of fun at Coffs and not too crowded with dills, just good hunting stuff and lovely toys, most of which I can't afford.

The Sydney show - well I cant expect it will be any more than just a bargain sell-fest for the starving masses. I can't see there being a lot of hunting stuff there, the sites are ridiculously expensive, most of the outfitters I have spoken to arent going but many will be at Coffs.

I just recently heard AHI was 'dead in the water' but who really knows? Les Kosek would know I guess.

I may try to make it. Will Steve be there as that's home territory?

So how does one get to Coff's Harbour if flying into Sydney?

Is it North or South of Sydney? You see I have no idea!

It's north, about 3/4 of the way to the Qld border.

About 1-1.25 hour flight; Virgin Blue and Qantas both fly there from Sydney. Just under $200 return on Virgin Blue, according to Zuji.com.
