New Enfield Barrels .... Criterion Barrels

Criterion Barrels is going to be making some Lee Enfield No.4 barrels in 303 for a shop in NZ ... they are considering SMLE No.1 barrels as well, but in the future. Perhaps some prompting might help speed the process?

I visited with Criterion this morning and dropped off an SMLE barrel for them to take a look at ... so perhaps we'll see something come from it after all.

BTW ... does anyone have a set of drawings for a No.1 barrel and a No.1 Heavy barrel?

I think you should be able to get new 303 barrels from Arms Restoration Service/Arthur R Smith of Colchester, Essex Uk also as well as other UK sources.

The issue for us in the US is the import fee, which isn't too bad if you're dealing with volume, but for single items it doesn't make sense.

Yeah, I checked with the BATF and it's subject to import licensing.
