This is a A.O. Neidner & Shelhamer Krag and was in the June Rock island auction was est. $900-1800 sold for $4800
one of the best looking Krags I ever seen.

I say it before you can build a classic bolt action rifle with any of the old military actions. it dont have to be a mauser or a mannlicher schönauer to be political correct.
there are some rules to follow and it become a classic sporter.

well the one in the first post sold north of $4k
I am sure like most Griffin & Howe's the Krag would be up in that range if not a little more
you know how those G & H collectors are..... I am building , or starting rather to build one like the G & H will see how much I have invested when I am done .....

That Neidner is nice but the G&H is my Dream Krag. Love that rifle. For me the best part about all three is they have the magazines left on. Great rifles. Thanks for posting them.

Here's a Krag I've had for many years. I don't know who the stock maker was but it's as nice a piece of birds eye maple I've ever seen.
