With people many times claiming a double rifle is out of reach of the common man, worth keeping a record of this good buy. IMO. Sold for just over $3000 as the auction bid price.

.... My bet is that it IS a .303 Savage. French law up until last month virtually prohibited military calibres.

Made in 1949, barrels by Falla. Nice rifle except I donīt like the carvings, otherwise it looks a lot like my Demarteau, though mine is 9,3x74R. /S
