Restocked and rebarreled to 7X57R by Allan Mack.
Nice to see a modern restock of a classic to this standard. Beautifully done IMO.

Allan and his people do really nice work, he's done a few jobs for me over the years. Too bad the restoration work is a side business for him, I'd like to see more classics rescued at that level of craftsmanship.

What a wonderfull Forum this is ! That we can see all of these gems on our own screen. This is a very nice example of a tasteful restoration. I note that the rear site base is different to mine on use number 845,also,as mine has the Selous Plates,there would be less wood to admire! Many Thanks for posting !

Beautiful Restoration. It is nice to know there are still craftsman around that are on par with the skills of the original gunmakers.
