WDM Bell's 450/.400 Jeffrey

I'm just rereading Wanderings of an Elephant Hunter by W.D.M. Bell and early in the book he refers to his 450/.400.

Now I assume this is the WDM Bell 450/.400 Jeffrey that Robert Ruark bought, along with the .275 he gifted to godson Mark Selby, and is shown in the later edition of Horn of the Hunter.

Does anyone know where this double ended up ???

I reread the paragraph in "Wanderings of an Elephant Hunter" this morning and it said a "double 450/.400".

Didn't refer back to "Horn of the Hunter" yet.
