Well, they are quickly growing out of the puppy stage.

Oscar and Violet:

Good looking dogs. How is their training progressing.

I have had one GSP and he was a good dog.

They have a lot of instinct.
The girl is a spaz but Oscar is quite mellow and will probably be the one I will work with the most as far as hunt training.
If they are together, she is too disruptive and would rather play than look for the bird. She is better by herself though, so maybe as they grow up she will mellow some and I will be able to take them out together.
Still working on the retrieving but that too is better when they are apart.

Great looking dogs, I have a 4 month old Brittany spaniel, know what your going through. She has the best nose I ever seen, have great hopes for her. she has been retrieving a tennis ball quite well, will start her on a bird in a couple of months.

Great looking dogs..

Agree--I have always found when training the younger guys as well it works much better to train them alone...way too much playing if you don't..

You should have an amazing crew to hunt with in the future..

Huvius,

Any updates/new pics of your GSP's? I have three & just love them. Yours should
be ready to hunt this fall. Good luck with them.

Jim
