Advice Needed

Hi all, maybe someone here has some advice, probably one of the knife makers on the forums. I have a pair of Sable horns which I bought at auction years ago for almost nothing. They have been in my garden shed for 7 years or so and I dug them out yesterday with a view to doing something with them. They are a bit "lacklustre". What oil/wax should I use to make them a little more presentable ? Any thoughts on what to do with them ? Knife handles ? thanks in advance, Mike

Knife handle is one good idea. Seems that Sable horn is very suitable for that:

Mike,I can't help you but no doubt Renaissance wax would do the trick.It's good stuff.
The one beauty about it is that you can put it on and polish it off.Not like using oils.

BTW it's made in England.
