Exit wound

My guide Peter in the field next to where I shot my Buck.

What a beautiful place. I'm really thinking about Australia for my next high dollar hunt.

Top stuff, well done.

At 2yo I was told they are mature. 6yo is very old. About 20kg dressed.

A .243 is legal and perfect but a .223 will do it.

Euro skull mount is being done for me and posted home. Walked about 5 km but as they are territorial not hard to find. You just need access with country that has them. Lots of shonky operators will take you for a walk in empty country. Luckily my mates knew the right people and it didn't cost me a cent.

Hoping to get onto a Roebuck in the next year or two while over on business; very much looking forward to it. Nice buck tophet1!

I can make this happen, check my website Complete Jamroll Safaris

No-one has bigger Australian roe deer than my property owners.

Well done John. The Reo Buck may well be the highlight of your trip.

GH did your property owners obtain their breeding stock of Australian Roe from Roebuck Bay in Western Australia

Sorry mate, as John says it was a joke.

Probably not a very good one now that it's had time to mature...

The point I was trying to make is that people don't have to spend a lot of money to find good hunting with all the information available on the internet these days.

John is displaying considerable modesty here, the man took two strangers ( At the time) from almost exactly half way around the globe out camel hunting and it was an honour to be able to take him out hunting, if only for a morning, when he happened to visit the UK with his family.

John did very well with a hellishly early start, borrowed rifle and for having never seen a roe before.

By all accounts he put in a cracking stalk on a group of 9 roe, getting to within 20 yards of them crawling across a field using only a dip in the ground and patience.

If we had more time my car would be full of mud by the time he left!

Yes damn you!

How did you know the Roebuck Bay B&S ball was the place to pick up breeding stock?

If that's the right word...

Well Blacks worded me up about that particular B&S ball on the drive back from Boulia

This or any other post does not make any implication that I have had anything to do with the breeding stock at Roebuck Bay.
