Steyr Takedown in the shop

Picked this beauty up this week. It was free to a good home.
It will get a thorough going over. Seems to be all there, just a bit used.






The takedown Lever. Not a A&D, much more industrial.






and the "Crest" is mostly intact

Indeed I do, well almost. I know there is a Pith Helmet about, as well as the Torch on the handle bars, only thing pending is my .256........:):):)


My daughter, the younger, will be heading to University this Fall and has already expressed how this Steyr is indeed "Her" Steyr and how it will be fitting on campus navigated by a geeky accounting major...... Sie' La Ve

Similarly I once saw a Porsche drill press. I am disappointed I didn't buy it as then I would tell all the girls, "I have a Porsche in my shed ..."
