Greener safety with DST

I recently saw an original Mauser Model M sporter up for auction with both double set triggers and a Greener type safety. It was obvious from looking at the trigger guard and triggers that they were not original, and indeed, the original trigger guard with hinged floorplate, obviously set up for a normal Mauser trigger, came with the rifle. The trigger, however, was not available. http://www.egun.de/market/item.php?id=4313489

My question is whether the Greener safety, which is designed to work on a normal trigger, would also work with the double set trigger arrangement. I don't see how it could, but I am willing to be shown otherwise.

A Greener type safety made for a DST will not work with a single trigger mechanism and vice versa.

BTW
up to now I havn´t seen any Mauser 98 with single trigger and Greener safety combination.
