Mauser diopter
      #226416 - 04/03/13 10:13 PM

Some years ago I bought one small cute diopter for my 98 Mauser. The seller told that it was taken away from an older military rifle. I have tried to find any futher information of mine diopter but without any luck. Does anybody here know where it comes from ?

As you see, there is three screws to adjust for lateral and vertical but without any scale. This diopter has been designed for attaching it to actions back bridge with two screws. The vertical adjusting screw need one more hole to drill.

I've not seen it before. I have an example of Husqvarna's "Jaktopter" diopter sight, which attaches to the rear bridge in a similar manner, but the aperture and adjustment method is constructed entirely differently.

Can you read the stamp in front of the elevation adjustment screw?

Looks like a sturdy little sight though.
Never seen one before either.

I inspected whole item very carefully with magnifying glass and noticed that the "stamp" is only scratch. Havenīt either found any other markings.
I have noticed that I have no use to it so maybe i`ll sell it away.
