MIke,
This is a difficult one If I could I would have had much more trophies on my wall but I don't as the finance doesn't allow it but I really have to think very hard to choose my best trophy I would rather say that I have so many found memories that it doesn't matter what I have hunted they were all great !
But as my fondest trophy that is up on the wall it would be my 17" bushbuck that is where I had some good luck like you have. I saw him and didn't react on how big he was but just that he was there and I had to do it quick with a a good snapshot type shot when I actually wlaked up to him where he fell I only then realized how big he was !

It's a toss up between my 6 tusk warthog and my big nyala. Might change after my buff hunt this year.

Ann-that is one mean looking piggy. WOW! How big is that Nyala? 32"? But whatever its size, it sure looks great! Thanks for posting them here.

Mike,
Got me thinking , this one.
For me, my favourite trophy is the Buffalo Bull I shot in Oct last year.
The size was just the icing on the cake.
The thrill of the hunt was
1.Just over 5 hours of stalking and tracking through the thick stuff in the Zambezi valley, the one mistake made by the old boy by getting caught out in the open.
2.The single shot through the top of the heart/lungs at about 60 yards.
3.The haunting sound of the death bellow.
I re-live the hunt almost everyday !
