Nice rack on a tiny deer,if you could put those antlers on a northern white tail it wouldn't be so impressive.I see he's using the "big fish" pose.

Idon't know...a 7 x 8 with at least a 26" spread (well outside the ears) would look mighty impressive on any Northern Deer.

That rack would be fantastic on our little Sitka Blacktails!

I didn't mean to offend anyone,it is a nice deer. When I see a pose like that,(intended to deceive in my opinion)it just rubs me the wrong way!

Yup.......... I live in the land of big whitetails and that is still a nice deer regardless of body size. I am actually hoping to wrangle a whitetail hunt for my wife and I in Texas next winter. It is warm down there in December and January after our seasons close. Holidays have to involve fishing or hunting.

I would be pretty tickled to get something like that on a Texas whitetail hunt.

Hells Bells the guy isn't sitting six feet behind the deer, he actually has a hand on the rack.

Ripp thanks for posting.

rglenz, right oh, lets see some photos of your Northern Whitetails. For comparison sake and also for our enjoyment.

I worked with a guy years ago form MN..he had taken a MONSTER whitetail..something like 29" inside spread..6x6...was one of the most amazing whitetails I have ever personally seen..

The N Dakota state record whitetail was shot about 10 miles from my parents farm..another monster..typical scored somewhere around 204 or 206???
