Feel free to email them to me and i'll be happy to post, if you wish.
I have a Zazzy .458, love it! I haven't changed anything from factory, though want to get a scope on it and start mainly using those 405gr cast bullets in front of trail boss. Seems a better combo for the 'roos than woodleigh 480gr'ers at >2000fps..
Mine had a few ejection issues when i first got it, but i think that was my fault as it runs smooth now. One thing to comment on - they're light.

Cheers,
Ash

Not to hijack, but this is my favorite version of a factory 458

The front sight on my Zastava 458 win mag is not well machined and it's glued to the barrel so I just ordered a NECG Masterpiece banded ramp with an inside diameter of .689" http://www.newenglandcustomgun.com/Gun_S...20Banded%20Ramp the tip of my barrel have a diameter of .692 (see pic below) what do you think .689" is a good choice for the barrel?

Sure did/does I had 2 of these and have shot Finn Aagards.........weird as it is, these pushfeed M70 Supers are my favorite 458's.

I can't handle any recoil anymore and my 48yr old(young) eyes can't do iron sights and I have no use for a .450, but I wouldn't mind just one more dance with one of these

I would just about law odds that Phil Schoemaker's .458 mag. Alaskan guide rifle has a 22" bl. Too, he's shot moose at well over that 300yard range when the need arose. You'd be surprised what a good rifle shot can do with some practice and a .45 cal rifle.
A strong 350gr. at 2,450fps to 2,500fps, or a 400gr. at 2,350fps to 2,400fps will work just fine. It's just a lot more rifle than I need, these days for moose or big bear. When younger, I thought differently.

The main 416 I use has a 22" barrel...and it is very accurate--shot little antelope in Africa over 250yds on more than one hunt...and when in the thick stuff after a buff or other nasty, very quick..

think for a dangerous game gun..22" works very well

22" on the .458 Alaskan and both of the .458 2"'s worked very well. It's short enough to be handy and gives up literally nothing in speed. I think Phil's old guiding Zastava .458 also had a 22" IIRC. The 2"made 2,060fps with 510's and the .458 Alaskan did 2,200fps with the 500gr.

Caprivi,

may I ask what finish / coating this is on the mauser?

The colour loooks extremely nice. A perfect match to the B&C stock.
