Thanks for your help on my first post. As a follow-up, I have a couple of questions.
1) On the CZ 550 rifles, is there a "real" difference between the American and European style stocks? By real, I mean not just personal preference on the look but, a strenght or reliability difference (ie cracking)?
2) For which caliber (.416 or .458) is it easier to find reloading dies, powder, brass etc in the U.S.?
Any other thoughts on the matter are also welcome.
The cracking problem seems to have been rectified by CZ, no real complaints for sometime. I have the original designed stock and I find it better suited to using open sights when needed than the "American" version. I hope to never need the open sights but in a DG rifle it's nice to know that I'll aquire my sight picture a little quicker.
