Starting them off right!

My friend just got back from his annual hunting trip to Kansas. He sent me two long emails detailing his adventures. He took his wife and almost 3 year old son along. Here is a quote from his message that I thought you all might enjoy

We were shooting pheasant and rabbit that ran out of the end of a milo field as the combine cut it. Andy was standing with Lyn and I was off a ways. They started towards me and a rabbit came out behind them, running hard. I yelled to turn around. Lyn and Andy spun and saw it. They both aimed. Lyn shot and rolled the bunny up. I yelled at Andy, Good shot, you got it. He looked at his double barrel and the rabbit and said, Yeah, I got it! He carried it back and was very proud. We never told him his gun is fake. It's results that matter.






I was just a little reluctant about posting this, as I know we are now going to hear a whole round about haow great doubles are...

None the less the smile on that face says "I am a Hunter!!!"

Your friends son is off to a great start. Just being out in the field with his dad are the things that make for a lifetime of memories.

I am glad you do that. I remember times like that with my dad and those were some of the best times of my life.
