Boudlersmith,
That is a very nice looking and well built machine that you have there, did you build it yourself from plans or buy it? I have looked it over several times and I can't quite tell what everything is on it. Is the dark roller looking thing at the top rear, a balance weight? I am thinking of re-build mine as it is not as accurate as I would like. It does O.K. on roughing out a stock but is not quite good enough to do the finish inletting with. I would be very interested to know where to buy the various parts shown on your machine. Bob

We built it in our shop. We modified a design that had been successful in the past. The black tube is filled with lead to counter balance the front assembly. Most of the parts we bought came from ebay, or from the net. The router ebay, same with the cam followers, Thompson bearings etc. We can get very good results on inletting with this machine. I usually leave about .050" on the outside and .005" on inletting depth, .005" to .010" on the sides.
