A New Elixir for the True Believer.

Stephen Coker visited the shop this afternoon, and brought a new brand of fuel to test. It passed with flying colors - we will certainly have to obtain a stable supply.

Here it is, in good company of course:

There is some alcoholic drink named "Nitro" in Australia too.

But does it supply a full daily allotment of vegetables?

I see it is a stout. I don't think I have ever drank stout, or guiness or similar, ever ... maybe I should give it a try. A suitably named drink too if available here.

I have been a real believer in stout for years Coopers for an Aus one and Guinness, but Guinness in a pint glass in an Irish pub..the real thing.
That glass MR looks to be full of a quality tipple, lovely and dark with a creamy head.

It may be my new favorite tipple as far as stouts go. As soon as you open the top, you pour this one hard by turning the bottle fully upside down in the glass. The entire glass turbulates, and then within a minute it precipitates into the picture that Mike took there. It is also far creamy than other stouts I've had. It most certainly assisted Mike and I as we filed up caterpillar front sights!

Well, Mike and I have found a new one. Loch Down from Arcadia Ales here in the U.S. It's a Scottish-style ale. It was almost buttery, with notes of chocolate and nut. At 8.0 ABV it is as potent as a .400-.360. A very appropriate brew for a rainy Sunday afternoon spent working on a Scottish rifle.

At 8% it would kick like a .600
