Need Mauser floorplate release lever.
      #219128 - 06/11/12 08:23 AM

Steve was kind and gave me a 98 Mauser hinged triggerguard that had the release lever broken off. Anyone know where I can get another lever? I can try and make one up but prefer to buy one. Thanks

I would check with Duane Wiebe or Stu Satterlee.

i make a few batches a year of the meier works style levers that midway & brownells sold,
meier works is no longer in buissines.
i'm changing up the way i make the levers so it will be a while before i make another batch.
i was making the lever by welding the stud in from the top of the lever but i'm going to start machining them as one piece and i'm also going to start making a copy of the oberndorf style levers with the screw going through the top of the lever.
i've also started making the bushing on a taper instead of straight.

one of the meier style levers installed.

a few rough shaped levers, latches and bushings from a previous run

it will be a month or two before i have any ready.
i was selling them for $65 per kit, i'll have to see how much time it takes to make the lever as one piece compaired to how long it took making them from two pieces before i set the price. it should't change much if any.
the kits include a rough shaped lever, latch blank, tapered or staight bushing( or both if you prefer) set screw and detent screw along with full instructions
