Dry hard country boars

Heres some pics of boars taken in some dry hard country. Pretty hot and dry so boars realativly were easy to find. Wind was terrible and stuffed up alot of stalks.
Boars were in poor condition from the long dry season. Found several pigs bogged in muddie lagoons/ soaks.
We took 21 boars for three days so a good trip. Cheers Mick

Some nice looking pigs Mick and a bloody good effort for 3 days with a bow! I've hunted far northern QLD but yet to ge across to NT. Do you pull all the tusks?

It certainly looks like your having success with the open on impact broadheads, I have never had faith in them. I wish we had pig hunting like that here. That's one thing I miss here in Montana.

Dagga- hooks have to be pretty good for me to pull them these days.
Bob I usualy use 2 blade heads but after seeing the rage mechanicals a few weeks back on game decided to see if I could wreck them. They worked fine. Tried a few different angles and double shoulder shots. No failures. I will continue to use 2 blades and thunderheads 125's. They have worked for me in the past. Cheers Mick.

They'd be fun with a handgun, flintlock rifle or smoothbore using round balls.
