Hi all,
Just wondering if anyone has any feedback on these awesome looking little doubles? The only searching I did brought up the review from Chuckhawks. So has anyone ordered one of these lately from Bailey and what is your opinion? Have the issues brought up by Chuckhawks been rectified? As always pictures are encouraged

Dunno.
Bailey used to post here, but I haven't seen him for quite some time. Probably he is busy.
I never have seen his work; only some photos.

I'm still here, but as CaptCurl said, busy busy busy.
I've changed my small bore break action design and am building them on a version of the W.Richards drop lock. Still have the hinged floor plate and removeable locks, rib extension and C bolt top fastener.
The blitz lock design I was using was a nightmare to tune given the size of the parts. The drop locks have more "cool" factor too.

Bailey,
Good to see you back here. Don't be so scarce!
Could you do a spread on your new design? I would love to see it and I feel sure others here would also.
Glad to hear you are keeping busy.
Will you display at the Las Vegas Antique Arms Show in January by chance?

I'll have a few pictures tomorrow. I've been shaping and stoning the fences to make it photo worthy

Here's a little teaser. This is a 28ga shotgun, but is also going to end up with a set of .303 british barrels. It's my version of a droplock, and will serve as the action for all of my break action doubles up to 9.3X74r.

Absolutely awesome! And I really like the idea of a 28gauge and .303 combo too. Please keep us in the loop on the work on those guns, would love to see how they end up, thanks.

I was building the droplock for a friend, but he has had to let go of the project. That being said,it is now available. Feel free to contact me at 903 746 0004 for details and I'm happy to answer any questions too.
