September 1st is to Texas what August 12th is to Scotland, and it is fast approaching.

I'm looking forward to being in a dove field that saturday afternoon with some old friends, and I've been warming up every wednesday in August at the bird hunters league at the San Antonio gun club.

Who else has plans for opening day, and what have you done to prepare for it?
