New King in the stable. The old .303Rigby went for this dude:

..maybe not King but Crown Prince!. Made on a new Heym Magnum Mauser by a reputable gunsmith it does not become any finer imho. The .378 Wea in general finish any .375cal exploring..:LOL

This rifle is going to Africa next year.

That might be true, but it kicks the living daylight out of you, I shot with one once and it was not a pleasant experience. A 470 NE feels a lot better than a 378 WEA.

That said your rifles looks very nice

Congratulations, Jens! A truly beautiful rifle, my friend! Hope to see a full article for our E-zine after your safari. That will be a great hunt report to read!

Congratulations again and good hunting!

Holy Crap Jens that is nice. Nothing in the Kalahari or NW territory will be safe.

I hope one day to come to Oz for horse and kamel shoot/hunt. A 378Wea would be a lovely choice for this application..Donīt you think??.

Jens, yes it is truely a beautiful piece of work. What is the tip of the stock made of, buffalo horn? It looks very nice.

Would have been nice in a 416 Rigby LoL

Lovely rifle. Will create lovely bruises too when shooting a hundred donkeys a day.

Hi John.

100 donks aīday!. Show and I`LL go:LOL. Is that how many one can become fortunate to huff nī puff a day?. Iīll better become good friends with a reloader in OZ because I could not bring more than a 100 rounds with me. They say horsehunting should become a challenge because they are smart and smells any danger....interesting!.I must investigate this further. Next year is Africa then OZ.
