Especially when you process the pictures you took.

Yeah - I don't know if it's real or not - still a good picture for relatives, friends and neighbours.

Damn neighbourhood kids are always playing on my granddaughter's swing and slide set.

You gotta know Moma's around somewhere close. Shooing them away just isn't smart. Take the pictures and enjoy them. From Terrace with love.

Yes - 4 cubs.

That's perfect

This is why you always carry a .44 with you while hunting.

Everything I have heard..and know someone who allegedly knows that guy..the photo is legit..

Have a good friend about an hour north of here who was out bow hunting a few years ago..was belly crawling up on a heard trying to get a shot at a bull..looked behind him and a lion was stalking up behing him about 80 yards off..got up..threw a rock at him and it just side stepped..he finally shot an arrow at it and it took off...

Seems as though either really young lions or really old cause a lot of the trouble...have been out several times and cut their tracks in mine once I circled back but have actually only seen one in the wild 3 times total...

Someone mailed me the photo - was said to have been either Montana or Idaho.

I expect the flash and subsequent blindness would have freaked the cat - gone.

Around here, their numbers are slowly raising - the whitetail population is exploading, so we can expect cat numbers to increase as well as the damn wolves.

Friends of mine had a mountain lion 'casing' their dogs (dogs were on the veranda) one Christmas day couple years back. One of the dogs was a Great Perenese/St. Bernard cross - maybe 250 pounds - the cat just sat there about 100yards away, watching them. Harold wasn't home and his wife who saw it all, doesn't shoot - too bad. She brought the dogs inside and the cat left. They haven't seen the cat since.
