Hey neighbor! I also live in Fairfax County! I'm in Lorton, right off Rt. 1 near Mason Neck State Park! We'll have to try to get together some time over a beer (or the like) and swap stories...and maybe even hit the range together.

I moved to VA about five years ago and because of the new career and starting a family, shooting and hunting fell by the way side. But times have changed!

The only place I know to shoot for free is at the CF Phelps WMA area to the NW of Fredricksburg. It's a very beautiful range but there you can only shoot from the bench too. And it isn't open year round.

Shoot me an IM and let's swamp stories...

Nice to meet you...and one day I would love to check out your double--and yet, it must be more fun than the '06!
