My New Toy!

Ok, been a long time but finally got my new toy home.

Started out I wanted a Ruger #1 for a project and was looking around for a good action, barrel and wood didn't really matter.
Anyhow, in my GS and asking what they had and what I wanted, looked at a few when the guy I deal with brings this baby out!

Mm, too good to for what I want but hell I'll take it!

Hasn't done much work at all by the looks, very clean and tidy, comes with rings, rcbs die set and box of ammo! (also has decelerator recoil pad fitted)

So I now have a 375 H&H in the rack!

(Bit of a bugger as I'm still looking for one to use for a project!)

Anyhow, guess whats maybe coming with me on my next goat hunt to try out!

Oh, and I'm looking at putting a Leupold VX2 2-7X on it!

Cool... You'll love it! Great rifle, great cartridge! The goats will like it, too.

Oh yes - they are fun to shoot - iron sight popping rocks at 200 to 300yards with 300gr. RN's never gets boring. Love shooting the .375 Rugers.

Nice pick up. The Ruger No. 1's can some times have surprising timber on them.

You should have a good time dropping goats with that.

Lovely little new toy. great rifle in a great calibre, it would be good to see the goats come to the party.
