I'm surprised with the down turn in the US economy that they could afford it..

That is awesome---the more people hunting with both fame and money--the better..IMHO...

The first job I ever did for a Chartered Accountant was working on the bankrupt company "Trumpcard" in 1986/7.

A buying advisory company operating a (allegedly) illegal pyramid marketing membership scheme.

The Donald was a Director, who didn't appear for the investigation.

So let's break down the discussion to its most basic component which is protein.

Since these animals were reportedly taken in Matetsi and were therefore truly wild animals, we can figure that several hundred pounds of natural protein went to feed who knows how many people, whether they be the hunters or local residents or camp staff.

Oh, and several thousand dollars were injected into the local economy.

This you see, is wrong.

Pity those poor people who are denied the basic human right of consuming processed protein (complete with pink slime), from animals that are bred to be killed and all of this happening far away so that we don't have to think about it or god help us see it much less take part in it...

As Ripp said the ignorant content in most of the comments is unbeleivable, and I would bet American money that the people who wrote them are not all vegetarians, (why would you want to be) which would at least lend some credibility to their formulation of their opinion even if I don't agree with it.

Reportedly the advertiser "Camping World" has withdrawn advertising from "The Apprentice" in "outrage" of the Trumps hunting game in Africa.

More to follow on this withdrawal of advertising and what hunters can do about it.

But in the meantime here is a show I would like the Trumps to make:


"The Apprentice PH"

Twelve would be hopefuls compete to become an African Professional Hunter.

Which one will be eaten by a maneating lion?

Which one will be gored by a buffalo?

Which one will be stomped into mincemeat by a ele?

Which one will be shot by mistake by a panic'd client?

Which one will be shot by a client for seducing his daughter or wife or mistress?

The Apprentices which get fired will be the lucky ones!

The successful Apprentice PH which screws the clients out of the most tips at the end will be the WINNER!
