Was over at the neighbors yesterday to drop off a set of mounts for his 1022 that he asked me to get for him when I was in Brisbane. I got a set of alloy ones from the gun show at Redbank for $25. He said "how much" ? to which I said "you do plenty for me so just have them".
We got talking and he said "when are you going to kill some of these f#cking pigs here as they are out of control and i can't poison yet because the sheep are in the same paddocks" ?.
I said "See you in the morning".
Ended up with 36 pigs until 8.30am but most were just slips. Got a few photo's but it was pretty hectic.

No mate I will have northerly winds so I will be spraying. You will have to tackle the pigs on your own.

You are supposed to eat fish at easter mate not pork.
If you are lucky I will lend you my bike and "George" and I'm sure you will burn some powder.
The hardest thing for you will be makeing a choice between the 338Fed,338-06,9.3,7x57,7.62x39,308 and the "Boar spear".

Ha pork and fish both white meat to me well I will have to do some reloading with those .338 Woodleighs I am sure but I was thinking that the the 9.3 is likely feeling left out but then the old faithful .308 Finwolf is very handy in the thick stuff now I have worked out how to make those 5 shot mags for it. Ah decisions decisions

Cheers, Ash.

Steve (Viking338) was working at one of the booths and I went to see him. Was there from 8.30 until 11 am Saturday.

Good post Neale. Those RWS 8x68 cases are nice, ay.
Since you've probably got lots of brass I was hesitant to mention this, but standard 2.650" or longer magnum brass is useable. Merley turn the belts down to .522" or .523", trim to length and fireform. They form perfectly and function as normal at any pressure level and work properly in 8x68S dies.
