I think he did. I seem to remember some pictures.

NE 450 No2

Yes I bought the 450/400 3” and now having had the opportunity of getting to know her a little better, I am so very pleased I did. She fits like a glove, easy on the shoulder, no flinching and surprisingly accurate.

Getting lots of practice off hand from every position at the moment, planning to hunt elephant in late 2005.

Regards

Phil

How on earth do you manage to own a rifle in the UK if your first name is not Sir?

Bonanza, just call me sir.

But seriously it’s not that bad, just a little illogical sometimes, the laws governing our hunting of game however, are excellent.

Sir Philip

Phil,

Good luck on your upcoming elephant hunt. I was lucky enough to get a nice Zimbabwe bull elephant this Summer & used 450/400 Lancaster Double. It worked quite well, plenty of power & a classic African cartridge!

One pearl to pass on, when you get done taking the first group of pictures, wash the tusks off with some water & take another set of pictures, it really brightens them up & at least with my bull it made a much nicer photo! Anyway good luck & I'm envious!!
