Went out at 3.30 am for another lap at the pigs. First time out since the flood.  Still bloody wet which makes crossing the swamps interesting ?.

He isn't that little really.
The 3rd last and 2nd last are the same pig just that he is in a little deeper water.

You can eat them for sure. I like them when they are living on grain alone.
Also hard to look after the meat at the moment with the heat, mud and dogs.

I think he's talking about the Bower Birds nest / display area, not having the normal large amounts of coloured things around it.

Yep,
Satin bower birds have a preference for blue objects to display at their avian "disco". Old days was they pinched Reckitt's blue bag brighteners that advertised "for those extra white sheets".
That bird may be low on the pecking order.

I will go back and look next time. I was looking when the dogs took off through the fence to catch a pig. Did see some green glass but no bullet shells whiich is unusual here. Normally sheep ear tags,bullet shells (303 mainly),berries and bones.
No gold rings or diamonds.
