Those Indians really knew how to push the best out of those English gun makers. I am always amazed at the workmanship. Should be posted in the paradox section.

Forgive my ignorance but is the metal fit right?

Nice gun but a few questions and or comments...
This is obviously a re-cased gun. It is not in a Westley case, it is a modern one.
What makes it a presentation grade?
It is not a Modele De Luxe, let alone a Modele De Grande Luxe and not close to a presentation grade.
And for $65,000.....
not that I would not like it.

I knew that bit but meant the bottom edge of the hinge point.

I don't have a photo ready to go but it could be normal, seems a bit pronounced.

Well maybe a bad camera angle but quite a bit of puffing as to the description. I don't believe the pointing dog on the trigger guard and seen on many Westley's has anything to do with a Mudhol coursing hound. Still a very beautiful Fauneta. As with the Holland 20 paradoxes, I don't believe many of these guns were made (we will have to wait for Lakes's volume 2 to know how many)each one is unique and special and there is little to need for puffing.

Now that is rare.

Wow! is right. What a beauty!

What a price also. One could only wish.

I edited the original post to insert the photos and description. Also moved it from the DR forum.

And Gatsby, please do treat us to a thread featuring your 12b.

Another 20 bore droplock on GI seems to have the same overbite.

Ditto.

The case looks like a Huey. Probabally an $8-$10K recasing job. The text says nothing about an extra set of locks. Who would take the locks out when casing the gun???

Lovely Fauneta at the end of the day.
