The guys from Knight Rifles "Americas Muzzleloader" head out to the range with Dave Fricke of Millennium Manufacturing to shoot the largest center fire rifle ever made. Only 12 people have ever shot the .950 JDJ as a rifle. Produced by SSK Industries, only 3 were ever made this was the first and the lightest weighing in at 50 lbs.. 2400 grain bullet and 240 grains of powder.

2 bore- 1.326"

How is their .950 the largest CF rifle ever made?

WOW, what awful and plain ugly abominations! This remark applies to all the Knight rifles shown on their website! IMHO they compete in bad taste with the Blaser Hamed repeating double rifles!

Yes - their advertising is always the biggest this, baddest that, fastest car/boat/bullet/plane, best whatever - and much of the time it's tossed as 'just advertising',like expecting a politition to honour campaign promises.

I have a great deal of respect and like for RIPP and did not want to sound as if I was slamming him personally - I deleted my post 3 times before ending with the one I did. I wasn't and I know no one else was slamming him personally, either.

I also agree with kuduae's assessment of their muzzleloaders.

dont like to fight about his bigest of all times thing but coming back to the cartridge: any measurments around? bullet must be lathe turned bad the case? resized from machin gun brass? something between 20mm Vulcan and 30mm Aden

I've posted about my friend Marco Rigido's 1.00 MR rifles here - a full inch and bigger than the .950 in bore dia at least. Not sure if any of these monster bores will be used to shoot anything other than inanimate objects, though.

Our Canadian neighbors give us stiff competition in building "bigger and badder," and not just in guns. Just do a web search for Bad Dog Motorcycles. No one else builds a 3500 cc V Twin motorcycle as far as I know.
