Sierra bullet for 300 Weatherby

What do you think the Sierra Spitzer Boat Tail tip for the 300 Weatherby Magnum?, The weight of the bullet is 180 grains, the pieces as they would hunt wild boar and half the shooting distance and short. I think the bullet of choice for me is more suitable for long shots but I hope your advice and opinions

That bullet will not hold together on impact at those velocities.
The wound will be very large in diameter, but shallow in all likelihood.
I would recommend a stronger bullet and perhaps heavier too
The 220 grain Nosler Partition is very good. So are the Barnes TSX bullets

Why use a 300 Weatherby to hunt hogs? Shots are usually very close, and hogs are not very hard to kill. I would prefer a 30-30, 308 or 30-06 over the 300 Weatherby cartridge. In these, the Sierra 180 gr (or 170 gr) bullets are ideal. The Sierra 180 gr round nosed bullet is a terrific killer!

Hogs close? 9.3x57 & 323gr. easy to shoot and accurate along with hitting out of proportion to it's case size - perfect!
