My buddy Jeff just got back from Colorado the other day from his guided ML hunt in Colorado. He scored on a Real nice Buullll A public land bull at that! I guess sometimes it pays to get a guide LOL

Very nice pictures . An Elk like this one, is one of my main targets. I'll go for it someday, sure .

That's a very nice bull! I've known of a few guys who've spent the equivalent of 5 or 6 African hunts and have not come up on something as nice. It's got some very nice back scratchers. Only problem is he's probably very chewy except for the backstraps. Nevertheless, it's a very trophy and will make for a nice mount. Your buddy otta be proud of his kill.

HUnting elk is an awesome experience. They live in some outstanding country. The views alone are worth the costs involved. I prefer to hunt wilderness areas away from the crowds. I hate running into lots of other hunters. The nice thing about Colorado is that there is plenty of free access to hunting on public lands. Like where this bull came from. I'll be back there again next fall.........having as much fun as ever
