At the Powell Cotton museum/collection , in the UK, there is a real work of art done by Rowland Ward in the early 1900's.
It is a full mount job of a Lion and Buffalo. The Lion has hold of the buff's neck, and the Buff has his head twisted around, with one horn penetrating the Lion's rib cage.
I will try and post a pic up.
M.

I've seen a picture years ago from 3 guys who owned a large company. They each shot a huge lion and buffalo and had it mounted in such a way that the lions were circling the bulls and the buff were in a corner arse to arse waiting for the attack.

If I had to wlak into that office and see this I would be impressed.

By the way Highveld taxidermist does full mounts for elephant on a regular basis these days and he says he has never done so many giraffe mounts in his life before these last two years.
