Trigger ?

My MCA is equipped with double set triggers. When used set they are wonderful but, the pull unset is close to 9 pounds. I have used set triggers for over 30 years and never had one this heavy unset but, this is my first Mannlicher. Does this sound normal? Is there a remedy? Thanks.
