RSF<

What kind of wood did you use on the handles? Am I correct in thinking that the Damascus blade is folded/pattern-welded as opposed to Bulat/Damascus steel?

on the one with the lanyard itīs buckeye burl,
on the other damascus blade itīs eucalyptus burl.

on the 3rd knife iīm not sure what the wood is, found it att a dealer during a show.

itīs normal everyday patternwelded damascus

Roger,

I am quite impressed by the Buckeye burl. I think the material would also make nice grips for a 45 ACP or some other pistol. I always though Eucalyptus was kind of pulpy and wouldn't be suitable for such applications.

Do you do any work for others? I attempted to go to your web page but it was unavailable at the time. I have considered a knife but if you could make grips that would be great as well.

Thanks for the pictures,
Eric
