Does anyone know of a stock maker or duplicator who has a pattern(s) for an intermediate length 98 Mauser ??
Or even better does someone have a "pre restoration" or rough intermediate Rigby stock they'd trust to a duplicator of their choice to take a pattern off. I'd happily ship two good NZ Walnut blanks anywhere just to get one back that would fit my rifle.
Every stockmaker , who has the pattern for the standard length 98 can easily do one for the intermediate length Mauser.
You can take any standard 98 riflestock if you can live with a slight missing wood as is shown in the picture. The picture shows an intermediate action in a standard 98 stock.
