Does any one have data on how to get the 12 ga.explora up to original velocities 730 grain bullet @ 1250 fps out of a 2 1/2 in case with out going over standard pressures?

Two points:
The Explora guns were more heavily built than a standard shotgun (as were the Holland 'Magnum' paradox guns). They undoubtedly operated at higher pressure than a Brit shotgun at that time. Perhaps someone here can post actual figures, or an appropriate reference. We keenly await 'The Book'!
Also, there is some evidence to support the notion that the Explora LT-Capped projectile was significantly lighter than 730 grains. Graeme Wright discusses this in the Paradox chapter of "Shooting the British Double Rifle". Has anyone pulled one to find out?

Hope this helps.

At the cost of a Paradox or Explora cartridge I'll let someone else do that.

Thanks for the reply. As soon A I get an original explora shell I hope to pull it and see exactly how they were put together. I think that I will just wait for "The Book" to come out though before I make any attempts to put together ammo to meet original ballistics. Hunting season starts in November here. I would like to hunt with it this season. Maybe I can just put together some paradox loads and see how they work.

There should be some data some where about the original pressure limits on the explora.
