200 Loup-Garou in southern France
      #189326 - 06/09/11 11:38 PM

Around 200 wolves have invaded the southern regions of France and are menacing mountainside sheep, it is claimed. Thought to have crossed over from Italy in the mid-1990s, the wolves are moving into the Hautes Alps, situated in the south-east of France near the border with Italy.

200 werewolves?

Interesting, this discussion like in Sweden. Like everywhere there are wolves. The best thing is not talk so much about it, just take care of the problem on your own property. Those who wants wolves can have them on their own backyard, I donīt like them.

A surge in wolf attacks on animals in the south of France has had French farmers scrambling for their rifles and infrared goggles. But one local official says it's time to draft in American hunters as local farmers have proved hapless at finding and killing the predators.

That's the gov and anti solution.
All the farmer and hunter community are enraged, being ripped by the wolf and prevented from soundly fight back.
to add insult to injurry, french
They denied sheep herders to shoot the wolves, they dramatically restraint the hunters with only 2 organiszing 1 or 2 large military style beat hunts supervised.............by the administration. No mystery that the result is laughable.
To add insult to injury, they don't trust the locals guys (who would happily wiped ALL the wolfes out). They considered hiring servile and obedient foreigners for shooting a strict ridicule quota.
What should be done is to allow the herders and hunters to hunt by themselves.
Some scouting with shooters posted at right places will solve the problem. A pity that hounds could hardly be used. It they aren't scared, they are no match against determined wolves.
Night shooting with a night vision scope is strictly forbidden even if it's by far the best way.
Imagine us using ATN or FLIRS and wolves are history.

But I know quite a few guys who are shooting wolves undercover. The trouble is that the more they shoot wolves the more wolves are appearing by magic. They hardly saw any cubs, and despite this it's falling wolves, even large Canadian wolves.............released by greenies and by the numerous recreational wolf parks that turn orvercrowded with cubs .
