Does anyone know if "kangaroo trophies" can be exported by foreign hunters hunting in Australia?
Skin and skull etc?
Maybe one of the outfitters of here might know, as surely there are more than a few clients whom want to take something back home from a legally shot kangaroo?
On a cull only or destruction permit obviously everything has to be left behind.
But what about when the shooter/hunter has harvesting tags?
What about the tags that are available in Queensland for "sporting" purposes?
Thanks for any information. A friend has enquired if it is possible.

Hi John,
May I suggest that you contact AQIS as they are the governing body but I believe that it is a Permit to Export Kangaroo products.

Yes maybe I need to contact AQIS to see what they say.
Assuming the roo has a legal tag for it, and is allowed to be removed from the property ie not a cull only permit.
Any other Aussies on here know how it is done?

I know nothing about this topic, but I did see pictures of quite a few taxidermy forms for 'roos somewhere online.
