Ruger #1 custom rib....???

Why could a "retro-fit" rib not be made for the #1 using Talleys and moving the rear ring over the reciever? Is there not a market? yes/no?

It could be done, but the cantilever ring support over the receiver might be the source of unwanted motion.

I think it would work fine, but might give unwanted elevation if stiff/thick enough not to bend - however I'm sure it would work.

With today's scopes having 30mm tubes and 50mm objective lenses, the higher base might even be needed.

Could be made to fit any rings.
