Poor bloody cat is pissing itself with fright, mind you I think I would as well.
I bet that bloke on the ground is wishing he was somewhere as well.

A sad ending for all concerned.

Very sad. Life's odd, eh. Invent cures to help sick people, and the consequence is that wilderness and wildlife go. A lose-lose situation.

Its digusting to see how India manages its wildlife. Wish they would open their eyes and follow proper conservation practices and allow legalised hunting.

Moment leopard mauled ranger caught on camera

This dramatic photograph shows the moment before a leopard pounced on a forest guard at Prakash Nagar village near Salugara on the outskirts of Siliguri in India

Six people were mauled by the leopard

The big cat evades forestry department officials

The leopard attempts to escape

The fully grown leopard had been wandering through a part of the densely populated village when curious crowds startled it

Forestry department officials attempt to tranquillise the animal

The leopard is finally under control

dozens of leopards are lynched by the mob every year in india.
People hit it with sticks, bats, stones and its a very cruel scene.

I must say I think if India had slightly more reasonable gun laws some of these remote villagers might be able to protect themselves from this sort of thing with a 12 bore with buckshot but I suppose as human population continues expanding it will be more common, best, Mike

With at least 40 religions under one flag, there are reasons for India to have onerous gun laws. Nothing divides people like religion. Nothing else even comes close.
